OPQ Enterprises ("OPQ," "we," "us") operates TownSquare AI, an AI phone and messaging platform for local businesses. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using our website, phone, or SMS services, you agree to this policy.
We send text messages only to recipients who have opted in. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for full details.
No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information obtained through SMS consent is not shared with any third parties for their own marketing.
We share data only with service providers (sub-processors) that help us deliver the messaging and phone service (for example, our telecom carrier), and only to perform services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for marketing.
If you choose to connect a Google account (Gmail / Google Workspace) so your TownSquare AI assistant can read, draft, and send email on your behalf, TownSquare requests the gmail.modify and userinfo.email OAuth scopes. Connecting your Google account is entirely optional; the product functions without it, and other providers (Microsoft/Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, Zoho, or any IMAP/SMTP mailbox) can be used instead.
What we access: your email address, and — only after your explicit consent — the contents of your Gmail mailbox (messages, threads, and metadata) solely to display your inbox inside TownSquare and to let your assistant draft and send replies you authorize.
Limited Use commitment: TownSquare's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
Storage & revocation: OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and used only to perform actions you authorize. You may disconnect your Google account at any time from TownSquare Settings, or revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On disconnect we delete the associated tokens and cached message data.
We retain communications and contact data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and compliance obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
